Choreographic Lab  At Chisenhale Dance Space - Autumn - Winter 2011

The choreographic Lab is an artist led initiative to respond to a perceived shortage of choreographic workshops/platforms in London. Its aim is to create an open environment to develop and share choreographic ideas within a fixed time frame. This is imagined as an experimental venue where participants could invite critical feedback on practical work and initiate focused conversation about choreographic practice issues; as well as potentially developing collaborative work in situ. It is studio led but the possibilities of using remote collaborative tools like skype or twitter are encouraged. The participants are a critical audience for each other's work as well as possible performers.
